How to Grade Assignments

1. Navigate and log-in to https://gladeo.content2classroom.com/

2. Click the "ASSIGNMENTS" tab

3. In the "Assignments" tab, you can click "Gradebook" next to the lesson to open the gradebook.

4. On the grade book, you can see the students' progress in the lesson.

A "Pencil" icon under "Student Work" means that there are Knowledge Checks ready to be graded. Click the "Pencil" to open up the student's lesson and see their answers.

5. In the lesson, you can go directly to all Knowledge Checks that need to be graded manually by toggling on "Show only manually scored items"

6. This will bring you to the Knowledge Check that you need to grade.

If there is a rubric, you will see a shortened rubric in the grading panel.

To see the full rubric, click on "show rubric" above the grid.

7. This will show you detailed a explanation of each category to help you grade the assignment.

8. To close the expanded rubric view, click "hide rubric"

9. In the grading panel, there will be a box next to the maximum score. For the example below, it is out of 3 points.

10. Clicking "Give Full Credit" will give the maximum amount of points for each category in the rubric at the same time.

11. You may also enter in the score you would like to give the student in the box manually.

12. You can give whole numbers or decimals (0.25 or 0.5 etc), however, you cannot give more points than the maximum indicated next to the box.

13. Once you have given all the points, it will be totalled in the "Total" category at the bottom of the table.

14. You may also enter a message for the student under "Teacher Comments"

To finish grading, click the "Save" button on the top right.

15. Clicking the "Left Right" button will move the grading panel to the other side of the screen.
